About Back Country Comfort
After experiencing the luxury and comfort of a portable restroom trailer at Nick’s wedding, he and his partner Clay decided to enter the industry. Five years in, Back Country Comfort has become a leader in the field, providing top notch service throughout Central Oregon. With a focus on cleanliness, punctuality, and a warm high end design, they continue to grow in size and popularity.
Nick Davies
Nick has called Central Oregon home since 1991. He graduated from Mountain View High School in Bend before attending the University of Oregon. After an eight-year stint as a traveling professional poker player, he moved back to Bend for good in 2014.
Nick lives in Bend with his two sons, Louie (3) and Sawyer (1), surrounded by family and friends. He enjoys golf, skiing, traveling, great food, and attending Oregon Ducks and Portland Trail Blazers games, along with other sporting events.
Nick has been involved with multiple small businesses in the area and loves the challenge of starting something from scratch and watching it grow. At Back Country Comfort, Nick is your direct point of contact and will be who you communicate with throughout the booking process.
Clay Davis
Clay has spent the majority of his professional career in the food service industry. Feeling the need for a change, he decided to follow his interest in woodworking. Throughout the learning process he converted two vans into tiny homes, and since then has obtained his Contractor’s license and now professionally builds custom saunas throughout Central Oregon.
When Clay is not working, you will usually find him climbing at Smith Rock, or taking a road trip with his girlfriend, Camille. With nature being an integral part of Clay’s life, he loves working in an industry that promotes a love of the outdoors.
